Daft Punk is Playing At My House: A Theory

Ok so LCD Soundsystem released 'Daft Punk is Playing At My House' in 2005. They had already performed at Coachella in 2004 and were a hot topic in the indie rock / alt dance scene at the time. Daft Punk hadn't played anywhere since 1997.

Early in 2006 Coachella's booker cold emails Busy P to see if Daft Punk will play the festival. They accept and use the money to build the Alive 2007 show, which they take around the world as their second and final world tour. They tell the story in this recent minidoc which is pretty great. My theory is that the booker got the idea to book Daft Punk for Coachella from the LCD song. Pretty plausible right?
